CaseSync V1 ships on Android only, for devices running Android 10 or later. iOS and desktop builds are not currently scheduled.
Yes. After your first successful purchase verification while online, the app works offline for up to 45 days. The next time it re-verifies online the offline window resets.
Case data (sources, events, notes, exports) is stored locally on your device in V1. CaseSync does not upload your case contents to our servers. Exported files leave the device only when you explicitly share or save them.
Only the information required to verify your Google Play subscription and keep your entitlement in sync — a hash of your purchase token, the subscription state reported by Google, and timing metadata. No case data and no personal identifiers beyond what Google Play provides for billing are transmitted. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, pick CaseSync and cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
PDF case report, CSV timeline (spreadsheet-friendly), and JSON case bundle (round-trip importable so you can reopen the full case on another device).
Yes, if you export your cases as JSON first. CaseSync V1 does not auto-sync cases to the cloud, so treat JSON exports like any field-critical backup.
Sign in to the same Google account on the new device, install CaseSync, and tap Restore purchase. The app contacts Google Play and our server to verify your subscription and unlock.
CaseSync uses fixed-offset math at second precision and applies DST rules for sources you tag as DST-observing. The reference clock is whatever you designate when you start the case. Events can be adjusted by single seconds at any time.
